Unfortunately, our May talk has had to be cancelled

20/4/2020

We have now contacted everyone who had bought tickets for our cancelled May talk by Ann Morton, Doctors, Dirt & Disease. Thank you for your understanding and helpfulness. A huge thank you to those who have donated their ticket payments rather than take refunds. Amazing generosity, and so very much appreciated.

We are very much hoping that Ann will re-schedule her talk for us in 2021.

Event Bookings Update: Whilst the Museum is closed, Susan, our Talks Secretary, would be very grateful if you made bookings for Friends' Events by telephone to 020 8642 4778, and not by post. Events Schedule at Honeywood Museum

18/3/2020

Whilst the Museum is closed we will be updating the information related to planned events as and when we receive it. Some events cancelled may appear again at a later date, others may just be postponed to the revised date indicated. We look forward to the resumption of our normal service and schedule of events.

Honeywood Museum will be closed until further notice

17/3/2020

Sutton's Heritage Service has advised that Honeywood Museum will be closed until further notice:

"As the new focus is now on delaying the spread of Covid-19 in the community so that our health services can cope with increased demand during the epidemic, we have taken the difficult decision to close our heritage houses with immediate effect. This includes Whitehall Historic House, Honeywood Museum, and Little Holland House. The houses will not be open on Wednesday 18 March 2020 and will reopen at a date to be advised."

Many thanks.....

The Friends’ Shop - new range for Spring 2020

17/2/2020

Picture
Since we’ve been accepting credit/debit cards our shop stock has been flying out! We’ve now added several new lines, and fresh variations of our most popular ones. See HERE.

As always, our pocket money items remain hugely popular among families with young children. Do pop in and explore next time you’re passing through, or in the vicinity of, Carshalton and its lovely ponds. We always have real duck food (for only 30p a bag!) if you'd like to feed the ducks and other fowl on the water.

100% of the proceeds benefits The Friends of Honeywood Museum and their aims and objectives.

Entry to the Museum, Shop and Tea Room is absolutely free!!

Baby-changing facilities are now available

14/2/2020

We're pleased to inform our visitors that a portable baby-changing stand is available.

Please ask at the front desk.
