Beddington Park & The Grange Heritage Lottery Fund Project

Young film makers have made a video about improvements to Beddington Park, in the London Borough of Sutton
In July 2016 Sutton Council were successfully awarded £3m from the Heritage Lottery and Big Lottery Funds to deliver a project to restore, conserve and enhance Beddington Park.

The Project includes:
  • Improvements to entrances
  • Improvement to access and parking
  • Installation of interpretation panels
  • Restoration and improvements to the Grange Garden (to include an apple orchard)
  • Development of a new garden space in the churchyard extension
  • Dredging and improvement works to the lake and stock pond
  • The enlargement and improvement of the children’s playground
  • A three year programme of activities and events

The main package of works is now complete. Some landscaping and repair work will continue over the months ahead including handling and moving the silt that has been removed from the lake.

For further information on the Project please contact the Project & Volunteer Coordinator, Dawn Fielding, by 'phone  020 8770 6060 or by email.
