We still have a limited number of tickets available for our Black History Month talk on Wednesday 24 October at 19:30. Black British Civil Rights Heroines rarely feature in discussing matters relating to Civil Rights; this talk is likely to reveal a lot about past prejudices and what we may have learnt from them. Tony Warner's presentation will provide the names and achievements of those black women born or resident here that fought against British racism over the last 300 years. We are delighted to say that we will be joined by members of the Black Cultural Archives based in Windrush Square, Brixton. 'Phone Sue on 020 8642 4778 to book tickets. £5 (£4 Friends), which includes tea/coffee from 19:00. Comments are closed.
