Please meet Honeywood’s mascot Edward the Elephant! He has been developed recently by The Friends and local artist Helena Vaughan. We used an elephant because of that really popular photo of the travelling circus elephants in Carshalton’s upper pond in front of Honeywood in the 1900s. And, of course, he is wearing his red wellies because he does like going into the water!
Edward will be used increasingly inside Honeywood and on publications for children, so look out for him!
