Onam Exhibition - 27th March to 28th April 2013

In conjunction with Apsara Arts, Honeywood celebrated Onam, the biggest festival of the Kerala state in India. According to popular legend, the festival is to welcome King Mahabali, whose spirit is said to visit Kerala at the time of Onam. The Festival is a ten-day celebration of elaborate feasts served on banana leaves, folk songs, elegant dances, energetic games and floor flower decorations. Honeywood Museum's exhibition celebrated this colourful festival through arts, images, workshops and multimedia accompanied by an educational booklet
