CARSHALTON ENVIRONMENTAL FAIR 2011 - Carshalton Park 29th August 2011

A busy stall from every direction Visiting Deputy Mayor Hamish Pollock wears his chain of office Jane wearing what looks like parachute. Elizabeth with clipboard and Shirley and Steve wearing smiles

A bright and breezy day, Bank Holliday Monday saw a combined Honeywood Museum and Friends of Honeywood Museum tent erected in a busy corner location.

Jane Howard and Elizabeth Price manned (or womanned) a table with children's gifts and provided a very full day's, much appreciated presence of the Museum, to enquiring visitors and children alike.

Paul and Shirley Williams, Steve Morris, Mike and Pat Bale plus John and Sue Horne all took turns behind the Friend's table- crammed with a good range of our books and cards.

Comments from our visitors were really complimentary and demonstrated once again just how much Honeywood and the endeavours of the Friends are appreciated and enjoyed.

The Fair was obviously enjoyed by all and we can look back with a great deal of satisfaction at engaging with so many interested visitors and the fruits of a very successful trading day contributing to our funds.

Despite having no home base, we have demonstrated throughout the year to all that at heart we still have a thriving enterprise working hard before our re-launch next year and still full of purpose for our members.
